Flying Silos is a six piece band from the greater metropolitan Des Moines area. They have played for over 10,000 people at their shows in the last 4 years. Granite City recently reported attendance of 550 people at the Flying Silos last Mug Club performance! The Flying Silos played their third consecutive year at Stockman's Inn at the Iowa State Fair in 2009. Flying Silos plays a mix of classic rock, country, and blues music and would love to play at your next event! They are a "cover band" and play your favorite hits from the greatest artists, but don't expect to hear anything just like the record! The Silos come from very diverse musical backgrounds and each member brings something unique to the band that adds their own special twist to the songs.
Flying Silos is available for performances at bars, restaurants, wineries, festivals, corporate events, town celebrations, county fairs, weddings, anniversaries and private parties.
